Website that converts video formats?

i was just wondering if anyone knew of any website that could help you convert between different video formats ,maybe .avi files to MPEG( or other formats) without actually downloading any software. thanks.

Not sure of any websites, but there are many free conversion tools that you can use. One of them is Virtualdub, works well. Will convert mpeg to avi etc.

You have to download software unfortunately, I can't think of any sites that would let you convert huge files on there servers.

Try http://www.imtoo.com/ if you have to revert to downloading.
It's the best I've found.
