Hi there
Basically I am creating a documentation web page which has thousands of html documents currently in a neat windows file structure ie a main directory called `Docs` then under that `Support`, `General Interest` and `online books` then (for example) under Support there will be a few more directories which will eventually contain html docs
Is there any way or any tool that will automatically create a text based website from this directory structure (ie a physical directory would appear on the page as a link to new page that list the conntents as more links etc). It would take me months to create each page considering the amount of directories involved.
I know you might say why not just type `c:\etc\etc` in the address bar and browse using IE's file browsing functionality. Unfortunately this is not what I need, I need to integrate this into a current web page and add comments under the links etc
any help would be greatly appreciated
