I highly modified a phpbb forum skin and I was wondering what everybody thinks? Please give anythoughts, good or bad, as they will help me improve the community.

Well, I didn't have time to recode the layout of the design.. But their are quite alot of unique quircks and the graphics are a large overhaul.

I will be making it more unique as time goes on.

But you stated you designed the forum skin yourself. That's a lie. Also you basically just added the Vista logo which is trademarked and you're just asking for trouble in the way you are using it.

Well for one... I didn't lie... I may have not worded it perfectly, but my intentions were never to deceive.... I'll make it clearer. Secondly, refresh the page, the logo was changed before you posted.

Well... What can i say...
The template is simple and clean, but i think it was wrong to do the page so squeezed and the fonts on the page so small, because it isn't comfortable to read the messages on the page.

But, at all, i liked it

Well, you should still leave a link back to the template author. Even though you have modified it, it is still based on their work.
Also, the footer link should be Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2005 phpBB Group, rather than Run with p.h.p.b.b, because that looks a bit silly and unprofessional.

But all in all, it's just another Vista Forum with a theme with a few little modifications.

Good luck anyway, but I won't be joining. Prehaps if you respected the theme's author's work, more people would be interested.

I believe he wants us to believe that he was template designer as his OP stated. This is of course why he removed the copyright to original author which is normally NOT allowed. PHPBB does allow for the copyright notice to be removed but most template authors do not give that permission.

btw funny on your Vista logo "twist"...I kinda like it.

If you want to use the template without a footer link, discuss with the author.

I know that some sites offer an unbranded version for just £1 - the cost of a cheap pack of toilet rolls.
