No offense lennco but those sales you listed cannot be compared to visitspace. Your trying to compare places that millions of people visit annually vs. a place that xx people see over a period of several years. Not the same today and won't be the same in our lifetime.

The comps are valid.
You don't need millions of people going to space, the tickets alone will probable start at $20k each and up.

Companies like Virgin are spending millions to accomplish this type of travel so VisitSpace will be in big damned just like any other Visit domain, maybe more so.

You need to think outside the box

I AGREE Lennco totally not because i Own VisitSpace.com , but because I understand the concept of building domains into business , if visitspace was parked yea 5k to 10k but when you catch the wave in the middle of Hot Niche you will be riding the wave for a long time and it only gets better as time goes on!! You see i believe in niche markets doing what nobody os doing!! I believe that im the only domainer that even doing the space travel stuff and building a business , I just got the 1-800-76-SPACE the other day to match my domain and with that it brings the value way way up!! Also i going to be accredited Space Agent either through Virgin of SpaceXc.com and im starting travel company through my domains names WooHoo.Travel and BookingWire.com so the majority of people cannot afford a space ticket then they can visit Bookingwire,.com of woohoo.travel for flights , hotels , cruses etc etc!!. I believe in what i'm doing and make an awesome living from this through CasasBaratas.com and Clrean.Biz and soon CamisetasCristianas.com. :imho:

Well, have fun renewing the domain for xx numbers of years, before it actually will be relevant.

Also, do you realize that only a very small percentage of people want to travel to space?

IMO space domains are a bad/risky investment.

Companies put loads of money into things that fail all the time. Not sure what speculation and corporate investments have to do with domain name values?

1. People are NOT visiting space today.
2. You're assuming millions of people will visit space someday just like Florida or Orlando. May never happen!

Hey guys, there's a new fruit that 3 people in the world eat. I got the .com! It's worth a fortune now because someday everybody will be eating this new fruit. I know it sounds fruity but just trust me, you'll see. Just look how much oranges.com and bananas.com sold for

You are right keith people are not traveling to space but when this starts to take off then the domain will be worth more maybe xxx,xxx to x,xxx,xxx because the tickets range about 95,000 to 250,000 per seat, My goal when the site goes up that i can sell 5 to 10 seats in one year would bring first years sales @ 1,000,000 plus!!, Im looking at the overall picture of space travel these companies profits are off the charts !! so in saying this I believe this domain will sell for a lot of money! I going to hold out for at least 10 years!! VisitSpace.com will be more more Valuable as the years go by!! :imho:
