vBulletin Question

Hi All,

I am thinking to Buying a VB licence for my Movie fan site and
would like to offer my forum members the oppertunity to paste thier Ebay auction links.

My question to you is....

Is there any way in vBulletin to have any links that include the word: Ebay, auto coded so that i'm able to benifit from Ebay's Affiliate Programe?... is this possible in any way??? or is there an alturnitive??

How do the links look for the affiliate program? If they just include your user id at the end of it or something then yes it could most likely be done. I'm sure what you are looking for can be done though!

This might work:

in the AdminCP, in the banned words list, add ebay.com and make it be replaced with ebay.com?referrerid=XXX or whatever the referral link is...hope this helps/works.

well that wouldnt help... Because when you link to your item it has variables on teh end too...

You might be able to have it set as a replacement. Thats how yaxay.com did yaxay as an image.
