VB3 advice..

Have recently uploaded two new VB3..but I have the same problem on both..when I create a new main category in forum manager it just shows up as a new forum directly under neath with no category bar etc..it does this with or without a skin...any body bumped into this before or am I missing something quite obvious? (bearing in mind that Im an idiot!)..

when u add a forum cat

on that page there is a option that says

ACT AS FORUM

select NO on that and that will create a category
