Not bad, IMO. Too bad it is .NET, but it's not that big a deal given thte word is not really a commercial one anyway.

Developed with traffic, I say you could get low X,XXX

Undev and no traffic - mid XXX at the most but high XX to low XXX for sure, I think.

Minimum is high $XXX. To the right end user, I think it can sell in the low-mid $X,XXX range.

Hey, I'd spring $400 for it right now....coming from me, that means this has got to be worth mid x,xxx, because I'm a tightwad....

Mid $X,XXX to a normal person.
Low $XX,XXX to a company for example.

Please explain. Makes no sense as the statement stands. I did not know that vampires and nets go hand in hand. Or even networks, for that matter.

*It's a terrific word, with a rich and legendary history. Everybody knows the term.

*The dev applications and possible business models may be limited, but at the same time - it's very focused.

*In regards to previous posts; The extension is not a bad thing imho. Why would the word "vampire" be more associated with .com? or .org? or .us? The truth is, it's not really associated with any of them, but nevertheless a very cool domain in any of them.

*The name has a certain "cool factor" that definitely adds extra value.

A wide range on this in my opinion. $500+ to another reseller. $5K+ would not surprise me with the right end user.

Right. No extension is much better than the other. Actually, .info is probably the best for such a domain. But in this case where extension is not that big a deal, I say .COM is absolute best simply becasue the averge internet user knows .COM. It is the most popular extension.

I see a lot of folks here put too much emphasis on realting the extension with the doamin. This means very little in reality simply becasue .COM is the most popular etxtension. If I had a great domain I thought of and all extensions were available, I would register the .COM with no question even if the site/domain was not related to commerce or business in any way. COM is king, you can;t deny that. You have to look at it from a web surfer's stand point becasue after all, it is the web surfer that ultimately brings value to a domain.

But don't get me wrong, .NET is just fine. Very good domain, VERY GOOD!
