Hello everyone, I'm new in this forum, as a matter of fact this is my first thread here. I bought this domain usefulloan.com, I want to know if it's gonna bring some profit, as it has a hot keyword "loan" and the SLD makes sense to the general public. Thank you

I'm not really seeing this as having much value. I assume English isn't your first language? Useful and loan don't really go together. People don't say: "I need a useful loan." You can't just take a keyword and pair it with any random word.

What kind of logic are you using? A loan isn't more 'useful' because the interest rate is lower...a loan is a loan is a loan. Of course everyone would want a low interest rate, but that has nothing to do with usefulness.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Usefulloans is a decade old and was a website selling loans, which was bought by Lending Tree...a major player in the game. You have an undeveloped domain name that was registered less than 1 day ago. Any domain name can have value if it has developed a following over many years and has good traffic and back links. Yours has none of that.

Well, you said it, the keywords are already popular as well as the domain name, all I did was deleting the s letter. a competitor in the industry might be interested in purchasing this domain. and I still could develop this website and generate income.

I didn't say anything about keywords. A major player in any market often buys competitors for no reason other than to eliminate competition. Are you planning to setup a website offering loans? Do you know how to drive enough traffic to the website to make it worth your trouble?

I'm already an affiliate marketer, my curiosity drove me to the domaining industry, (I love the idea, it feels like investing in real estate, also the fact that a domain could increase a million times in value than a real estate would), driving traffic was hard for me at the beginning, it's currently a piece of cake. and about your first question. I might consider that later if I want to sell the domain for a higher price.

Well if you expect to hand register any domain and have it's price increase a million times, I will say good luck. Domains that soar in value on their own are very very rare. Even developing a site and holding onto it for years may only return a few hundred dollars.

If everyone on here could just pick a random domain name, setup a website and earn $100k a year from 1 website, don't you think we would all be doing that?

I think it's a great name Margou, as most loans, especially personal loans are not only useless but send the debtor into a spiral of impossible interest payments. I mean taking out a loan to pay the interest on an existing loan is the true definition of insanity, and it happens everyday.

Your name has at least three SERPs of solid relevance.

Undeveloped this one, for the loan-shark with some capital should part with $500 to $2500

haha, I don't blame you for not knowing how much marketers make out of their websites or affiliate marketing itself, do yourself a favor and research to see how much people earn from their website. When I was speaking about developing your websites, I meant providing value to the customer something that solves peoples' problems or serves them in a way, of course it's not that simple , it might take you years and a financial investment but it's worth it as once it's settled it may generated growing income for you for the rest of your life.

Since you claim to be an affiliate marketer, then I assume you are making at least a million a year, correct? And once you develop this website, you plan to bring in at least another $100k a year from it, correct?
