About 197,000 Google search results (I like to refer to them as potential End user "leads), and Overture gives me: "10279 - used part(s)", with many thousands of variations (auto, car, boat, motorcycle, truck, Jeep, BMW, Toyota, on and on). Top three OVT:

54611 used auto part
22968 used car part
12205 motorcycle used part

Please weigh that/those with the ".ORG" extension, and send along your honest appraisals, comments, and suggestions as you see fit.

of course the .org will lower its value for a commercial business site, however it has a good keyword combination and if seo factors will be considered by a potential buyer, it could rank quite well for "used parts" and could also for those overture search terms you outlined, if they know what there doing.

might be good for a "used auto parts" directory, alot of affiliates push this market with such companies like JCwhitneys affiliate program, etc. Could try and market the site to their or other affiliates.

I personally think this is a good name.A good dot org is better than a bad dot com.
For marketing purposes I'd try selling to someone like usedmachineryparts.com or usedequipmentparts.com....I think the leads out there are endless.

I disagree with those who say that the .org is not suitable for commercial purposes.
For example we have a very large commercial outlet in my area that couldn't get its domain in .com or .net and so chose the name.org rather than the I couldn't get the com.com
I recently got an absolute dream of a .org for my main business and I had no hestitation in getting it - it will be one of the prime domains for my business. I would never have missed the opportunity of getting this domain even though it's a .org.

Having a great .org is always going to be more desireable to an end user than a so-so .com as was said above. With less and less availability for the ideal .com surely there will be more demand for good .org, .biz and .info IMO.

"UsedParts" isn't the best example for a .org but I still believe it has great potential for an end-user.

End user/undeveloped should yield at least $179+
I could be way off base, and it may go for much more..
depending on the depth of desire from the end user/buyer.
