Uk multihost

I've got a number of personal sites I want to host and manage myself.

I know commonly development is done using php/linux but I'm trained in asp so ideally I would like to stick to this. Will change if price forces

The question is:
Do i get a reseller account or dedicated server and who is best - preferably UK based?

I have been worried about multiple domains on one IP - is this a real problem?

Any suggestions welcomed
