Well that is the only way I will look at domain names with ext and with out.

You can do it that way, but how do you get accurate results? I mean if you register a domain name called fastservers.com its "fast servers" not "fastservers" because of course "fastservers" isn't a word.

Adding the extension really doesn't make any sense to myself as your not going to get any results or if a real good domain you might get some.
