Threads going somewhere!

I have noticed this happening a few times but I thought it was just me but I post in a thread then I come back to the forum that the thread was in and it is not there, No trace of being moved with the forum markers.
Is it me! Am I going mad!?!?

Might be getting moved and deleted at the same time. They do that to prevent a "shadow topic" from staying in the original sub-forum.

Generally. if a Forum Leader / Admin thinks that a thread would be clogging up / disrupting a forum if a link is left, then it will be moved completely, without the link

Correct. Also, if an advertising thread is posted in a non-advertising area (like the Break Room or Website Review), then leaving a forwarding link sort of rewards the infraction, doesn't it?
