Was this vB template custom from scratch or based on a commercially available template? I really like the left side column for creating new posts.

Oh, I saw mention of the facebook theme. I hadn't tried that because the overall theme I didn't care for, but I really like the posting approach. I'll have to give it a try or at least try to adapt that part!
