Hello everybody! I've been tinkering with domain names in the past without much success and i'm here to improve and refine my trade. A couple of questions:

- i have a couple of 'naughty' domains i'd like to get rid of. They're kind of an hot potato as they could be used to do bad things. What can i do? Are there 'naughtier' marketplaces where i can get rid of them?

- i have several brandable domain names but they're not in english. Is this still a good place to sell them?

Hello Maginn .. welcome to NamePros!

As many mentioned above, if your typo domains are typos of actual active trademarks then they are pretty much worthless UNLESS there are other possible uses to the domain that in no way relates to the trademark holder or holders.

For example .. if you own Appple.com or Aple.com, then that's also a typo of the generic word "Apple". So even if there is a trademark, it's perfectly fine to own .. AS LONG AS .. you don't use the domain or advertise on the domain any product or service that Apple's trademark actively covers. Put it's perfectly fine for someone to use any of those domains for a landscaping service for example.

Made up words I'd say are a little sticker. "Microsoft" for example .. you'll have a significantly more difficult time justifying your holding of something like "Microosoft.com" .. as others recommended above, I'd definitely avoid those (and personally I'd also avoid the other ones as well, but they are in no way "illegal" unless you actively use them in a way that relates or competes with the trademark owner).
