i say its a 'scoop' of poop. I don't see any value in paying that much for a subdomain. if you wanted cool.de.com, just pay 9.99 for coolde.com

These are subdomains offered by central nic. They can function like normal domains, and they're not terrible looking.. but far too expensive for a subdomain and not worth investing in.

If you would even consider subdomain options, .WEB.COM is only $4.95

I always thought 1 dot is enough. Gosh those prices are outrageous. At that rate I would rather go for a .tv

I think out of all them extensions, UK.COM will be the most popular. Thats the kind of domain I personally think businesses here would go after, however it's a pity it's soo expensive.

UK.NET and US.COM are close behind, but not /that/ close.
