very nice script, i had to make modifications to it in order to get it to display the server uptime and server load. But other than that it was a nice script.

It would be nice if you added memory usage and stuff too (i tried adding it on my own and had some issues)

Callable from a "fake flat-file" as read variables, when the flat-file is infact a PHP script on the remote server dynamically reading the values and putting them out as a flat-file to be read by the calling script? Would be a good idea to do, if you are a host, and want one live page to show uptime/load for all your various servers at once; especially, if they are not on a rack system that records this for each already. Basically a readfile() (or simular) to a PHP script on each that just puts out the values for the individual servers the pulled files are on.

Particularly your server load part. As I did some changes to that so that the server load can be obtained a number of ways.

Well as I have already said, i like the script as well.

But again I think some additional code should be placed into the script in order for it to work on more servers. (mine didn't work on its own due to php functions be disabled for security reasons).

I can understand where your coming from, My original target meant that I need to keep the script and simple to understand for our less experenced members understand and customise as they wish.

Adding other functions/if statements etc will only confuse the matter.

Feel free to post hte modifications you made either here or on my blog though incase people run into similar problems to what you did.
