Not sure what you have the Adsense code set to have appear if Adsense doesn't have an ad available, but you might think of changing it, because I either get Adsense or an error in the adsense frame. I know the error shows Adsense as the address of the error... but browsers are crazy sometimes Since this is the only place I get this error, I figured it was likely to be something on your side, although I obviously can't swear to it.

I get this a lot:

You are not authorized to view this page
You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

^^ the error message mentions Google's server name which makes me suspect that the problem might be on their end. We don't use alternate ads in our Adsense code here.

Is this a recent occurrence or being going on awhile? I've never seen anything like that.

It's a fairly recent occurence, and I tend to get it on threads that do not have any "worthwhile" (to google, of course) content. Like threads that seem to be heavy on adult content, even if they aren't. Or it might just be my incorrect impression, but that was the only pattern I could find.
But it's happened a few times since I posted the first message. If I hit refresh I get that "IMHOSTED" ad that is the ad that appears on all bulletin boards when they don't know what else to put it seems.
Am I the only one out there with this? Hmmm... I'll start keeping track of what threads it happens in.
