Hey y'all,

This is something I am working on in my free time. Any suggestions on look and feel (take a look at the screen shots under "demo") and overall idea are very much appreciated!

Also if you have any development suggestions or marketing idea's, please let me know!

Finally, like stated on the web site, all requests for a test account will be accepted untill further notice (basicly untill we reach our max;)).

Thanks much and all the best!

Really? Nobody? No thoughts? No opinions? No nothing?!

It's look fine to me from design perspective. From functionality, it seems nothing on your site work beside blog and demo link.

Yes, I realize that. I was just looking for some opinions in the early stages of development. I am trying to have a live demo online by the end of next week.

From the point of view of design, the site really needs improvement, there's actually, no site at all.
Functionally, if you are going to offer another email client, like The Bat or Outlook, there would have to be many more features. So, what's your concept, difference from those email clients?

Yeah, one more thing, what does your domain name mean?

Squatter,

Thanks for your review.

Our product is an email client, not the website we have put up to announce it. It's only purpose is to get people interested. So if you have any suggestions on how improve this, please share your ideas!

Next to offering a couple of features no other client offers just yet (these will be announced when implemented), our main focus is to cut down on all the features common clients offer today. We believe that by cutting out unnecessary features, we can create a better user experience. Furthermore, our client is a web-based one, not a desktop application.

About the name, tamadaa means simplicity in Thai.

If there is anything else, you would like to know, I would be happy to share more of our ideas.

I've only got a few minutes, but here goes:

[1] The bright green header and the blue-green divider clash. I don't like them, and they distract me from your product.
[2] Nice graphics on the user interface. However, you use that blue-green again. The color just seems so ... 90's.
[3] I didn't login/register, so I don't know about the load time of your product. However, one thing to think about is just that. In order for me to use this for my gmail.com account, rather than just going to gmail.com, the site needs something to "encourage" me to use your service. A super fast load/send/recieve time, as well as as an incentive, could keep me coming back. EDIT: Just logged in using the demo account. VERY NICE!. Everything on the back end [/mail/] moves VERY smoothly. Again, the colors bother me some, but this is nice! I'm interested in how your spam filter works, but that is minor at this point.

Overall, 9 out of 10. The speed is a definite plus, but the colors made me dock you a point.

Nick

EDIT: I cannot not seem to send an email. Either that, or it's taking forever.

Nick,

Thanks for you review.

Indeed, there are some issues concerning the design that could be better and we will defenitely look for ways to improve that when we launch our first release. However, at this point we putting all of our effort in getting the app to work so we can launch something.

Sending email doesn't work just yet, the demo isn't a 100% working one, it's more to just show what we're doing and to make people interested in our product.
