Star Wars Sequel Trilogy

Rumors abound on the web about the star wars "sequel trilogy" and maybe it even possible coming to TV instead of the big screen. I kinda like the idea but hope it dosen't become a Star Trek!!! Any thoughts?

man..I sure hope not .. there is nothing like seeing the rolling titles, the big booming theme ..etc.. that you can only get in a theater.

wouldn't it be cool to see a new "episode" every WEEK instead of having to wait 3 years? but you are right there is nothing like the movigoing experience :tu:

do you really believe that they could copy in one week..every week..what takes them 3-4 years to create now?

I could see it now..

the Land Speeder gets replaced with Chevy Corvettes... Tie Fighters become re run scenes from top gun, Chewbacca is mysteriously replaced by the beast from "Harry and the Hendersons"..

Yea, hopefully it will be better than the Star Wars TV Holiday Special. Anyone ever get a chance to see this?
