Hello..

I own Standby.mobi (regged 9/28/06). I was looking for some dev ideas for the name. The only thing that comes to mind are standby flights. Any other ideas?

Before mobi, there was an exploratory committee on a variation of mobi. It was an acronym for Driving On Phone Internet. It did not work out. This was their spokespersons and advertising campaign:

I think the biggest problem was the confusion as to who was doppie, doppy, dopie, and dopi and all the difficulty branding this extension. Obviously the White House claimed infringement of their TM and threatened WIPO in this matter and issued a C&D before it got off the ground.
