Re: Spammers!

Let's power your website now!

 What a terrible slogan.

I've gotten similar spam email messages, although not this one in particular. So annoying, right?

[al1]

No from it But from others offering web design service ..... Pills is the most often ads i see. I don't need pills ! Hahahaha!

[bensontwenty]

yeah - i have had this one along with a few others telling me that my site's listing in a directory is about to expire hmmmm - don't even remember listing them - I just add them to my junk mail list and forget about them

[GTech]

Interesting, I just got this email today myself. And I'm wondering, since I've taken great pains to protect my primary email address, how they managed to get it.

I can't recall using my primary email for any registrations, but obviously I have for something.

One year I go with no spam, and this week, I get about five spams suddenly, including this one. Someone sold a brutha out for a dollah

I've gotten similar versions, like this one yesterday:

I think I found the source of this. All the emails that recieved this were from my domains parked at fabulous. Please say its not so...

[CoolGuy]

never got one.
People get a lot of this especially if they email username is webmaster

[GTech]

Hmm, that wouldn't be my case then. I used my yahoo email to signup for Fabulous and I haven't received any there. Even so, that's the reason I use yahoo in the first place, is for the spam trap.

This one came to my unpublished email that I do not use except for my clients and friends.

Is the Fabulous CEO around here to answer this one?

[Red Hawk]

Howdy,

All whois details at fabulous are served in an image. They can't be harvested unless they do it manually.

I hope this helps

[CoolGuy]

Did the 2 emails come from the same then post their email for everyone to block

[Matt]

If you know the root address, you should be able to stop all mails from that root domain in one swipe on the mail server?

Not a true server techie, so could be wrong.

BTW..thought this would put a smile on all of your faces
