Snapcheck question

Does anyone use Snapcheck?
I'm thinking about buying membership but I need to know are domains still sorted by country and how many polish names are there?

I loved that website in the past but don't what it is like any more...?

They went from free in 2006 to $50/month. They aren't worth half that. Check out www.premiumdrops.com for a great free site and some awesome lists.

Another thing was that the owner of SnapCheck once stated on the site (something to the effect of): "any donations sent while the site is free will be considered for paid accounts if the site ever goes off of paid memberships."

Well, I sent in a $5.00 donation one time, back when it was free. I never received a thank you. Then, once it went paid and you have to be a paying member to access SnapCheck, I emailed the owner of it a few times saying "hey, you said you'd consider past donations for paid memberships in the future" and I told him I had donated in the past. He got back to me saying (his words exactly): "I appreciate your previous donations and yes I will be fixing that up sometime in the next few days. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to isolate all the donors and manually add them. I will have it setup hopefully by Saturday..." That was six months ago, still haven't heard back from him.

ya, I used to use snapcheck all the time too, but I don't think it's worth it's worth paying for. Other websites like www.ExpiredWatch.com compile stats of expiring domains and publish them for free.

Why do you expect it to be free? If you can't afford a small price for valuable and unique daily domain stats, then you definitely can't afford to buy them at auction anyway.

If you're serious about buying good names, or learning great strategies for using these services then the service is well worth paying for. There are some really good ones that people just don't talk about for good reason.
