Are the different version just different designs with same backend?

the code is different on each, and version 2 has two themes which are interchangeable through the admin directory. you can also more easily change the google pub ID in version 2 - version 3 is more stripped down with any of them, adding or removing providers is extremely simple

the only admin section is in version 2, i was too lazy to put it in 3, so in versions 1 and 3, you will have to manually change the google codes, etc

Do these work with UK providers too?

if you know what the uk providers sms email is, yes, they would be easy to add

in other words, if using sprint... [email protected] this would be the sms address to sprint phones. if you know the provider sms email like the one above, you can add it
