Hi. I need a logo for my auctionsite. Should fit to the site layout and perhaps be a little wider than the the current one.

Hi. Thanks for posting it. Though I'm not sure if it looks better than my current one. I think there are of the same simple style. However, I would like to have something more colored and stylish, perhaps 3d look. And it mustn't be the motive of my current one. But the text should be included, sorry, I forget to mention that in my post.

That's all I can say at moment. I started this contest because I'm totally lack of own ideas, you know.

Other than to fit the site layout and perhaps 3D look, would you also like it to match your current site colours? or will you be changing the colours of your site according to the logo?

Do you definately want the auction hammer and do want it to match the text (like text based logo, if you know what I mean). If you can give exact dimensions that would also help. I may enter, just a little busy tonight. Good luck.

No, Twista, I would like it less text based.

Is it perhaps possible to get a round one? Way like a seal? Blue/white borders and a (golden?) globe and hammer in the middle, title inside the seal, all looking a little 3D, while the the slogan text is somehow arranged at the sites or below?

Please check the graphic I have added to this post. Perhaps it's a help to get an imagination about what I mean whith seal.

SouthernEssence, basically yes. But to prevent misunderstandings, I don't want it looking too similar to the posted example. If possible it should be a little more artistic seal variante.

Xilion, actullay a good and impressive seal would be be first choice.
Though from the non-seals yours would be one of the favorites. I just think that the black/white color combination of the icon looks not good. And the slogan should be somewhere above or below the title text.



Really not bad, Johan. It's just that I'm missing a little more "artistic" details. A better globe for example, or golden letters, or a gold border. I don't know.


Okay. I think I should raise the prize to 15 $ because of my special wishes.
So I will pay 15 $ for the logo.
