I was looking for sample sites to review. Has anyone else tried this program?

i'm skeptical of money-making systems.

as i learned from ian malcolm of jurassic park, complicated systems, after awhile, become unmanageable

the proof of the pudding is in the eating, have you been paid by them?
seems like a new company.

I wanna know more about them too but there's no "terms of use" on their webpage. It seems you can add as much domains as you like (min. 5 @ 1,50 usd per domain) and add your Adsense and other affiliate codes.

I've just looked at the Sitegrouper.com website. Sounds like a mini-Whypark but one that might avoid the Whypark duplicate-content issues. Looks like Sitegrouper provides the templates and hosting but no content. You provide your own Adsense code, so there's no payment coming from Sitegrouper. Looks like they make their money by charging $1.50 per month per domain (this includes hosting). Hmm..could be interesting. Depends what their templates are like, as I don't want a mini-site that still looks like an MFA site (ads everywhere and minimal content).

They have a 3-day trial :cy: Anyone?

3 day trial seems awful short.

Here are the terms:

http://sitegrouper.com/terms

I read the terms and I am not too crazy about some sections of it.

For Example:

I understand that I may cancel my SiteGrouper.com account at any time. Cancellation is considered in effect when confirmed by SiteGrouper.com.

I'm sorry but if I send you an email, fax, or written letter..... then it is cancelled. I don't have to wait for confirmation. What if they don't confirm and keep running the credit card bill?

One other thing I don't like that is not explained anywhere is how these sites don't violate Adsense terms. It just says on the site that "It does not violate Adsense terms", or something similar.

I sent them follow-up emails asking several questions trying to get more details, but they did not answer.

I don't understand why so many companies open doors but don't answer emails for potential new customers. It's retarded really.

they just want your money, that's about it.
the bottom line.

Has anyone try this program out yet? The $1.50 seems reasonable. One high paying click can cure that. Maybe I should do a trial and explore the tools. I wonder if I can add link partners, etc.. tweak my own meta.

I was going to do the free three day trial, which seems lame since it is such a short time to do an evaluation, but after going through all the motions of filling out the sign up form for the lame three day trial, at the very end they ask you for your credit card and explain you will be charged after the trial ends.

Screw them...... who the hell do they think they are? Talking about rubbing me the wrong way right from the start.

Do they actually think that I want to call my credit card to have to work out getting a refund from a no-name company? I'd rather let someone else be the guinea pig first and report back to the boards. I don't have time for games with these co's.

Christ....they don't even have any site examples. I even asked them to give me a few sites to look at and they avoided the question, just answered the parts they wanted to.

Everything about them seems fishy to me.

****BEWARE OF SITEGROUPER.COM****

I subscribed to site grouper and paid $300 only to find out that it's a basic template with no original content !

I figured I can cancel within the 3 day trial but I've been sending emails trying to get a refund and no reply. I am very unhappy with them and do not recommend them to anyone. They have no contact phone numbers or anything. I was hoping for a refund since I requested cancellation immediately but there is no reply to my inquiries even after repeated attempts. They better not try to withdraw that amount every month or I will have to reverse unautherized bank charges and create a forum strictly for sitegrouper.com complaints.

BEWARE!
