Indeed .co.uk is largest used in UK, the second largest nation of Internet users.
As well as the stoned meaning I liked the look of it in the address bar - 2s2 has a certain off-symmetry to it I think.
The rather n00b splash page is still in existence -
www.2s2.co.uk - and there is also the logo I intended to use at the bottom of the page.
I registered this while I was toying with ideas for what to call my company... I also registered others that have since expired such as internetdesigncompany.co.uk idcom.co.uk and .com internetdesigntechnology.co.uk and .com idtech.co.uk and .com before I settled with calling my business seen.to, which is a variation of what I've been calling my design company since 1988.
My expired .coms have all been snapped up since I let them expire - wish they'd have paid me a few bucks for them instead
Haven't got a lot left after letting 80 good names (or at least I thought so) expire. Some of them must have been good because they've nearly all been taken by someone else.
I still plan to develop peoplesay.co.uk and sell it as a package with freecontest.co.uk (if I don't sell that first). Also sixstrings.co.uk which is a half developed guitar tuition site.
Eek! I'm rambling on a bit now.
