Selling a wordpress site

If I developed a wordpress site without restricted themes/plugins, does anyone know of difficulties in selling it at a later date? Would I have to pay wordpress something or ask for their permission etc?

According to their license, you're free to sell.

Yea, no restrictions on selling the site because the software is free and open source. The buyer could always just download the software, so you're just selling the content and domain.

One piece of advice I'd offer is to take a look at the "developed sites for sale" subforum and see what people include when they sell a developed site. :D

Lets say I bought rights to a premium theme... developed the site... it has traffic and gets revenue - now I want to sell it together with all the content including the template... is that possible?

Typically, yes.
Theme is not sold to your name.
Theme is sold to site/domain name.
Again, typically, that is.
