I am looking for someone to actively promote our jobs forum (below) I need someone that is web savvy and in particular knows the scene! I would like that person to be very active in promoting our forum to both freelancers & clients (without heavy spamming) Sort of stuff would be adding us to directories, search engines, sending out our details to relavent companies etc.
I have had people offer to help but then they sort of get bored and disappear for some reason. Only apply if you can spend the time to do this properely, just making a couple of postings will not be sufficient. If you think you could dedicate some time to the job please email me with your proposals
Payment - In return I can offer you a full hosting package with all the bells and whistles, cPanel, fantastico .... etc. Plus an 'partner link' on our front page (currently 130,000 page views mth) Plus a small amount payed thru Paypal ($50 month)
I know this is not a lot of money but I do this purely voluntary for the freelancers benefit and if you are successful then the stakes will rise and perhaps a better package can be offered.
Here is a sample letter I already send out:
I voluntary run a jobs forum for Freelance Designers, Programmers & Developers. We currently have a large number of projects on the board. You are welcome to apply for them - Its all free. The ethos is that we are no longer prepared to pay hyped fees just for the priviledge to compete and bid for projects. So we decided to do something about it. Take a look for yourself and please feel free to join us.
