If I have a domain for sale with Sedo UK which is not parked with Sedo. There is a £35 ($70) fee that Sedo keeps on the sale price.

If I know that someone will be putting an offer soon, can I just set the nameservers to Sedo parking and I will not have to pay the fee? What is Sedo policy on this?

afaik, there's a fee either way, but setting the nameservers to sedo removes the minimum fee required.

Yes a minimum of £35 on a £60 sale is not too nice... Does the domain need to be on Sedo parking for 30 days?

I think there is a requirement that it have at least one view - meaning that if someone found the sale via SEDO's search and nobody looked at the parking page then they would want the minimum fee.

Since it appears that you are bringing in the sale I think you are ethically on firm ground. You might want to ask the buyer to access the sale via the parked domain.

--EDIT-- Better yet, I bet you can just use SEDO escrow and avoid the dance altogether, if your buyer is OK with that.
