Sedo Help

Ive purchased a name from sedo for a site i wish to create.

However this has taken ages for sedo to contact the seller which still hasnt been done. I have now had offers of other names im intrested in at a lower price.

How long do sedo give the seller to respond as i dont really wish for this to be going on for ages.

pretty sure it's considered a binding offer for 7 or 10 days, wanna say 7 but not 100% sure, there is a user at this forum named sedo that may be able to speed things up or let ya know something.

So if he hasnt responded within the week it can be cancelled on my part?

The reason i ask is because i bidded and he made a counter offer which i accepted but since then it says sedo are trying to contact the seller:

The seller of the domain has yet to confirm his personal details and contract type. Every effort is being made to contact the seller in order to get him to complete this information. Once this has been done, the transfer can proceed to the next stage.

So im not sure whats going on and their support is really non-existant.

not 100% sure but I think I recall that most offers I get say you have 7 or 10 days to accept and when counter offering as well I think they say the same, read their terms on the site or contact the member "sedo" to possibly confirm or help ya if ya can't find the info on their site. Sedo does good work but definitely not the quickest in town.

Ive looked at their FAQ and ive emailed their support which hasnt replied guess il have to keep on waiting :td:

send a private message to mara and ask, i did this once for some advertising questions and got a response the next day, no guarantees but worth a shot.

I have the same problem but the other way around... ( i am the seller )

( last time sedo had to cancel the transaction... it is very irritating as for that month
i am not able to sell the domain to anybody else )

Said that after 10 days of no contact from the seller the trasaction will be cancelled by them.

The name is nice and i havent paid alot for it so maybe thats the idea i will place another offer.

Hope your buyer pays up!
