I am sorry, this name does not have value. I am not saying this to be rude, it just not worth anything, especially in combination with .tv

There are alot of decent to great domain in the marketplace, you may be better off buying there.

All the best :)

It looks like you just registered this name, that mean you can file for a refund within 5 days, I would do so if possible.

If you created a sea salt channel and where able to attract even a small number of viewer each month you could possible earn decent coin.

Of course domainacrobat is almost certainly correct when it comes to domainer market value. I too doubt you would get more than 5 bucks for it here. Just another example of the indescribable disparity between potential market place value and what domainers think something is worth buying.

Yay! Finally a channel where I get to watch water evaporate and leave behind Salt! Awesome!

We are drawing a very long bow here.

The name is rubbish and has no fit with .tv, I'm pretty sure you would pay nothing for it yourself.

$xxx this was a flat c-note...thrown out by the guy, who knows that .tv has more potential than many other extensions that exist. I started to convince him also seasalt is taken by all other top-level extensions except .tel.

You should have taken it. Profit is good. There are lots of good names to buy and resell. I know it feels good to show us up, but you should not take any offer lightly, especially when you have no other prospects. In my opinion it is a name with little upside from a reseller perspective.

If this was a real offer and not just a fabrication to get Snoop off your case, then I suggest contacting them and taking it.

You can buy alot of decent names in the marketplace for $XXX.

If you rejected $xxx for seasalt.tv I could only wonder what seesaw.tv(not mine) would be worth!

Guys, I appreciate your input on this one. From what I understand, I have a Lithuanian/Russian concern coming to offer for this also as part of a pacakge of 5 or so domains. These are end users or agents for end users. From my past dealings with these certain groups, as I am an international trader in capital goods (not domains) :D, I know that when they want something they will really negotiate..may even throw in a premium bottle of Vodka or two.

$xxx this was a flat c-note...was a figure thrown out by the guy, who knows that .tv has more potential than many other new extensions. I started to convince him also seasalt is taken by all other top-level extensions except .tel. So you should be happy that I am pushing globally face-to-face for our investments in this .tv to end users.

The above sounds like the typical BS that a thread turns into when someone doesn't like low appraisals. Show us a real, verified sale or sit down, that is my opinion.

Hey Dar,

I believe in Dot Tv more than anyone, and I believe in 90% of my own domains but the true reality of the current/today MarketPlace is an offer like that on seasalt would have been an offer I myself would have jumped on immediately.

Of course if you have big visions for it somewhere down the road, then go for it.

I have some domans i feel the same way about where I have rejected offers that others would have called me crazy for but If you think that domain is just gonna collect dust before you get to doing anything with it...AND you can use that $xxx to re-invest in something bettter today, then I strongly advise in taking that cash. IMO

Good Luck,
Vito

Yup..like I was saying the original offer was for a flat c-note..I decided to wait and speak with others and that I will mix it in with another 4 .coms and .nets. and have them weigh more in the deal. I will be unloading it soon with others and that will be it. The original offer was from Europe and the new one is from the Baltics and Russia, and they have their own style.

BTW..there were offers from members here on NP for it.

Snoop, relax, why are you always so excited about everything? Whats the big deal about .tv all the time? people are making profit on this either the conventional way or with other methods...And why would I care that a domain is viewed as low value, it happens to people all the time...Did you ever think that maybe I will sell the unit for less, mixed in a package to people to get bigger business from them for something else. This is not the forum to explain on how people conduct their private business either.... People have money out there and .tv is new and they don't mind to spend. Think outside of the box. I will in this case draw business because that is what I have to do, since I am in business for myself. Domains is for fun of what it is for me, sorry that I am a novice.
Just have to take you with a grain of salt. :)

...Quixote, I may be mistaken, but I think you just got told by ixex but good!

Good show, double x, and congrats on your business acumen. I could use a lesson or two on how you do it!

...and I love the grain of salt reference at the end of your post, knowing that it's a grain of "seasalt"!
