The co.uk will obviously appeal to the UK market only - but whats the value.

There is a play on the name, that someone called Scot could want as his blog - a little like Craigs List - but it could also be a blog about anything or anyone SCOTTISH.....

What do you think ??

I don't see any value in it undeveloped.

The name craigslist.com/.org wouldn't be worth anything had it not been developed. And Scotsblog seems that it would suit a personal blog, not a commercial site.

Of course you can develop it, and depending on how successful you are, it could be worth a lot more.

the craigslist comparison is a fair point, but what about the Scottish reference.....Any top newspaper in Scotland should love to have one of their reporters doing a blog - does this name not fit perfectly???

Also, in a very much smaller way - look what happened to the value of mark.com that went recently for gd knows how much - can the same not be said for blogs - only one person called Scot in England could have his own site with his own domain name as his calling card.......

i dont really rate this too highly im afraid man. I always thought "scot" was spelled to scott.

Anyway, there is only one newspaper that uses "scots" in it and it is the scotsman but they use scotsman.com so would be unlikely to use a .co.uk.
