Do you think enough people will know what it stands for?

With developement (which should not be too hard) do you think it is brandable?

All other main extensions were already taken.

I think I was looking at rotflmao.tv once a while back, but never bit. Easily brandable streaming video humor site, probably the easiest up front niche to develop, too.

I am not sure how well that market pays, though. Perhaps you can generate some income from companies like IM.COM, which pays per sign up?
