Road Blocking ?

I was with my parents delivering my sister to college, and on I-80, there were these 2 trucks, (it's a 2 lane road with mountains on both sides) that were just SITTING there doig NOTHING, moving like 1000 feet every hour, there was traffic infront of one, but not the other

is anyone familiar with what I mean? do they have a reason for doing this? or are they just being assholes? (or atleast the guy who had not traffic infront of him)

I've read this like 3 times now and have a very vague idea about what you mean. maybe you could elaborate a bit more?

Alright well, basically the road had only two lanes, and on either side were moutnains, sloped either up or down so it wasn't really safe to drive (VERY steep) and these two huge trucks basically just parked there car there and sat there doing absolutely NOTHING, one of them had a little traffic infront of his, but the other had NONE, maybe he didn't wonna move cause in the end we would merge lanes, but honestly, I don't see why he didn't. And basically, they sat there for like 1-2 hours, then caught up with traffic, than stopped again for 1-2 and it was really really irritating

oh i think i understand.

traffic was stopped already on the hwy, but far ahead of these trucks and the trucks refused to keep up with the rest of "barely" moving traffic? Only moving up once in a while?

Most likely they could see much further up teh road that you because their so high up and could tell there was no real benefit to creeping continuously forward.

hmm, that's basically what my dad said, but actually, the truck was clear ALL the way, my dad actually cut the trucks off and he drove ALL the way to the front of the line cause it was totally clear infront of the leftern most truck


edit, even still, this guy kept up with the other truck so no one could go ahead of him, i don't see why he couldn't let some people infront of him, many of the people behind him were pissed off

Maybe he had already done that, but didn't feel like creeping up anymore, so he stopped, and that's when you got there.
