Major extensions are either reserved or taken.

Normally $0.00, IMHO.
HOWEVER, if you ever find the "official" .CC Registry ... have no idea who or where it is, perhaps slightly more than Reg. fee, in this case.
I seem to recall a site:

www.Spot.CC ... EEK! :o
Why not try them, or at least use it as a point of reference.

Yah, Im not sure how much its work since honestly the only .cc domain Ive ever visited is the one above. On top of that its a dying extension/dead so not sure how much resale value there is for something that has 0 buyers.

maybe you could find a domain registrar or someone wanted to start a registrar and sell it to them

I have never been to a .cc domain but they have some uses :P

EG: istoleyour.cc ( i stole your credit card ) LMAO

I noticed they have a directory/index listing of various .cc sites..

I also noticed that VEGAS.cc is available for:

vegas.cc is an available premium name!
$5,000.00 / year

Why are the .cc names so expensive for one year? and what country code does this extension belong too?

What "better" name is there frankly, for a domain registration service for the .cc names? I can't think of anything better then this.

Maybe you can sell it too an icann approved registrar who is handling the .cc names? Or do they have an affiliate/reseller program? I'm not sure.. but I think this name has great potential and value.
