Here's an effort from me...

Pulsar - not too keen on that 3dness dark blue

removed some space from the letters and icons, any better ?

try taking out the "www." on the big address. It just seems a bit too long.

Nope, a lot better :D

couple more suggestions though, make the d a capital, and make the font size so the D is the same height as the right-hand paper.

Surely you would already have known that the look was not what you were looking for when you looked at my first post. By pointing out that the edges were "gritty" It was obviously going to make me correct it.
I really dont mind if someone doesnt like my design. It really Annoys me, however, when someone wastes my time.

at first I liked the look of your design - I thought it had potential. But the more I thought about it the more I decided it wasnt the look for the site. Apologies if you feel I wasted your time.
