Does anyone know where I can get recipes for my website without running into copyright issues?

I plan on developing familychili.com into a chili recipe website. User submissions are also welcome if anyone would like to submit a recipe.

I don't think you can copyright a recipe...I suppose you could patent one, but I don't know how you get a patent for a chili recipe.

Search Wikis. The content there is usually not copyrighted... But whenever in doubt, check their T&Cs.

Not to mention you could state that you got the information from various sources and if the owner wants it taken off to contact you and you will taken it off immediately. I think you will be fine that way.
