Hi ladies and gents, please feel free to write or dm your offers.
I recently purchased reactjs .app - and this is why I think it's valuable (from my developer perspective):
  1. React.js or ReactJS or React (JS stands for Javascript) has been developed by Facebook in 2013 and it's the most popular web development framework, with ever increasing adoption.
  2. It was originally developed by Facebook but then quickly made open source.
  3. If you're building an app, in dev parlance, it's very common to say "a React app".
  4. Many React-related domains exist without issue (e.g., reactrouter.com, reactnative.dev).
  5. reactjs .org points to the official react .dev - making a similar reactjs .app a very searchable domain.
  6. The TLD nextjs .dev, a newer, smaller "companion framework" to React called NextJS, sold for $25,000 (on Afternic).
Domain - reactjs .app
Registrar - godaddy
Renewal Price - 25,45€ per year.
Renewal Date - Not expiring within 3 months.
Payment Options - All compatible payment options. Considering also other proposals.

Somebody on Reddit speculated this could be connected to trademark issues without being aware of the law so it's worth to copy and paste the reply here. TLDR; the domain is perfectly safe from a trademark legal POV.

React is a framework or library. It is not an app. The .app TLD is specifically for application-related stuff. reactjs.app logically implies a React-based app, not the framework itself. No deception there.

Trademark law doesn't prohibit owning domains that reference popular tech. Ever heard of nominative fair use? Pythonscripts, ubuntutricks, etc

You've got the right to use common tech terms in your domain.

Owning a domain that references a tech stack isn't infringement - it's fair use, plain and simple. UDRP cases need bad faith, which isn't here. Meta can't just "take" domains they want - that's not how the law works.
