Why is it that people seem to prefer registering 3 character .infos than .orgs when they are longer? Also, although it is a guide, CCC.orgs are seen as more valuable than .info?

The .infos are cheaper than .orgs for the first year. It costs less than $1.50 for a .info name compared to $6.95+ for a .org. For long term investment, I would tend towards a .org name but others expect .info to rise in popularity in the long term.

Plus scanning CCC.org's gets annoying unless you have thousands of proxies you want to use. The ban you pretty fast from their WHOIS server.
