The extension is good; next to .cn in popularity. I also think pure energy is brandable. Developing it as a keyword will have very limited use. Worth mid $xx undeveloped, imo.

Thanks for the opinion! Anyone else? Don't really know much about .in. Reg'd it because "pure energy" has high exact search number per Google adword. Also picked up PureEnergySources dot com . Rep added.
Pure Energy is trademarked by a company in the solar energy field.
The site name sounds like a metaphysical site though.
Always a good idea to double check potential registrations, especially those with surprisingly high search numbers here

Thanks for your opinion. Reps added. I registered the words pure energy, as in clean or natural energy and wasn't even thinking this term would be a trademark. Does anyone else have an opinion on this. Does that mean my PureEnergySources also breaks trademark rules. I was going to develop into a sight that informs on different types of pure (clean, natural) energy. Thanks!
I don't know enough about it to give you any insight where you stand.
Pure Energy is a live trademark in a few different fields. Photo-voltiac solar cells, candy, energy source development, blue jeans, maybe a couple more (try basic search on the link above). So the scopes appear narrow. Also a couple of variations with a third word (not including sources), not sure what the implications of this are.
They seem like fairly generic words at first glance. Energy is clearly a generic in and of itself. Whatever you do, don't develop the site in a directly competing established area (such as energy development) and don't approach any of those companies when its time to sel. Overall seems risky, and a potential problem, but not a lawyer nor very experienced in this area.
