I can't reveal too much about what I'm looking for, but basically, certain people can send in information on upcoming events, and then users can come and enter their zip and get all the upcoming events in their area. If you could integrate it with a bulletin board (I'd also specify but I am considering going back to Invision from vB) then it would be even better.
