gambling/poker domains are hot, so you are on the right track there

but i don't see how it can be any different from poker/casino and any combination of numbers afterwards. netheir do i see "poker in the 21st century" being a hot keyword tool, or something a company can build a brand around

so, reg fee

LOL......you are out of your mind, the only reason you got XX,XXX for that name is because the guys you bought it from, Reliance Inc., is one of the largest companies in the world. YOU GOT LUCKY, dont let it get to your head, they just launched Big TV in India, and THAT is why they needed that domain as BIG Entertainment is the name of the company. I suggest you stop disregarding others and control yourself.

I agree, but what the most irritating thing is that when you ask for an appraisal on this forum, my view is you should be grateful for any opinions, not just those that take your fancy.

well

a domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay

the reality vinay is that i always new that bigcinemas.com would be worth a few bucks 1 day and I was right.

All i got from a few of you guys on hear over a year ago was reg fee as an appraisal. So to all you newbies-stick to your guns if you really believe in a name.

marketable names are a BIG part of this industry,it is not all about google.

Hey and I don't think I was out of my mind and I don't have a BIG head, but whether you like it or not you should show a little more respect for a high $xx,xxx sale

cheers :imho: :imho: :imho:

i read in your thread that time, that you were going to sell topcinemas.com and another domain along with it, as a package deal.....am i right?
well did they take those 2 domains as well? Most prolly not, because the name they were interseted in was bigcinemas as they own big entertainment. All i was saying was after you got that sale, you started pointing out that the last appraisal wasn't true, and as i think it, end user sales no not require appraisals, as it is highly subjective. Maybe that domain wasn't reg fee, but mind you, even you had got a paid appraisal, they wouldn't have predicted a $xx,xxx sale.
Good luck with your other names, be a little bit more polite next time :)

First off..Congrats on the sale.

But why put yourself through the torture of having a domain appraised? If you know the answer why ask for opinions? You asked for opinions, you got them and now you lash out at the opinions. It does not make much sense.

Respect is earned & not given, while a big sale should be congratulated using it to ridicule others is not typically respectful. Don't poop where you eat, your next enduser could have just read through this post & decided "I think we will look for other sellers"

best of luck & I hope you post another big sale with your domains
