Hello Namepros!
This is my first sale at namepros and thus I present you a little taster for what is to come
Domain Name: Poker-Hand.org
Registrar: Name.com
Date of Expiration: 2009-07-14
Link Popularity/Traffic Stats:
poker-hand.org --- one of the few domains available in major extensions targeting high-traffic poker keywords such as poker hand.
Domain was first created somewhen in 2005, used as a part of gambling affiliate network (if you do a Yahoo lookup for backlinks to poker-hand.org you can see some existing members of this network). After that, it has expired, and then re-registered by me.
Domain is currently parked, and gets some traffic (as per screenshot), but since it is parked under an affiliate program with low conversions and high payouts, I didn't manage to clock any revenue from it yet.
"poker hand" is an incredibly potent keyword, getting 165,000 searches per month as per Google's AdWords Keyword Tool. You can play with Google Trends data to see just how many searches it's getting, but overall it's comparable to "video poker" and other A-grade poker keywords.
Obviously, if developed targeted at this phrase, it can get incredible search engine standings -- pokerhand.org is currently at #4, and no other site with this keyword only in its domain has been developed to rank.
Gambling is a hot niche right now with the growth of overseas gambling and talks of possible lifting of online gambling ban in US, so be sure to get into it quick.
As for recent comparable sales, pokeronline.org has been sold for $1040 at TDnam, uspoker.org went for $856, pokerblogs.org - $231, pokerroomsonline.org - $231, pokeruk.org - $200, pokerrakeback.org - $200 (all - SeDo).
Please prove my faith in strength of namepros marketplace, or I will move elsewhere to clear my stocks :D
