In my opinion the domain findmanager.com has little or no value.

I think FindAManager.com would sound better. Even then, the "niche" of finding a manager seems a bit too vague for the domain to truly connect with a buyer.

The domain would work for lost property software, if such a thing exists.

Good luck.

*Barry ....i can't understand your point of view, i asked for an appraisal opinion and you talk about another sites you bought and develop, who cares, if you want to talk about your website open a thread to do it. What kind of thinking process you do when you want paragonate manager.com or find.com with findmanager?? It's absurd, manager.com is a great top domain just another level of findmanager. As i said i think findmanager is a good domain name and my question is how much can worth for the right end user. If you don't like the name and you wouldn't buy it it's ok, but this doesn't mean that it has no value.

You are right. I over did it. I decided to do some research and I learned something. You may like this. Findsteel.com sold for $8,000. Findstorage.com sold for $7,000. Findescorts.com sold for $4,999. Findkey.com sold for $2,852. Findspace.com sold for $27,059. Findloans.com sold for $3,003. Findinsurance.com sold for $50,500. Findnudes.com sold for $100.

Manager is also a valuable key word for searching. Ranging from arbitragemanager.com selling for $1 to officemanager.com selling for $30,000. I think you may find a buyer near $10,000. Good luck.

I can't understand why anyone would Google that but 15k searches shows I'm wrong.

In my opinion, it as little to no value. People don't search Google for managers and people won't put their resumes on it. LinkedIn would have never taken off if had restricted itself to one job role.

I showed monthly searches as an added value and i also can tell you that was regged for the first time in 2005 but it's obvious that every domain name has value based on a lot of different parameters. I think findmanager is direct and easy to remember. What about Linkedin? Another absurd discussion. If you want valuate a domain name only basing on well known developed sites, imho it's wrong. In your point of view only top domain names or big developed sites have value, and the others only reg fee?? I did a research before buying, and as Barry reported there are a lot of recent similar sales and other similar names that get a lot of offers. I work as recruiter and i work on lindkedin and i can assure you that there are a lot of companies in the field of findmanager. Anyway i bought it for 2,99$ as expired last week so if i will earn 150$ for it i'll be happy but if i can take 1500$ :) well it's better :D
Thanks all for advice!

@Gianlu, I know that my comment is off-topic but it's related in a way.
Since I've started domaining, one of the most important rule was not to ask for a public appraisal.

Mostly because smart investors will look for your domain online all over the place and they
will find your public appraisals. I can guarantee you that it can hurt your price during negotiation
and also people tend to be subjective and at the end of the day your domain worth what a
buyer is willing to pay for it.

On the other hand if you don't know how to price your domains is very good to get an insight,
from someone of course, as how low and/or high you can go with the price.
I'll recommend to do that in private if you are connected or have access
to someone that is more experienced in the industry.

I mentioned LinkedIn for the business model, not the domain. Anyways good luck with it.
