It's hard to comment on, so all I would recommend is placing a faint border around both the websites. If you are willing to use flash for the first template, I would make the earth's image an actual rotating one. You could find a few nice one's over here. Good luck with the templates.

Yeah, look under "globes" in the showcase. You should find something around there. These things are expensive but they'll improve the quality of the template greatly.

Yeh,there will be a 1px border around the main area, it was planned but I forgot about it
The rotating globe would be a great addition, but I`m afraid it`s waaay to expensive for me If the client wants it, he`ll buy it and I`ll integrate it or smth like that :D

nice. you could sell that for some extra $$, should fetch a little but. Lol, on the second one, those graphs, i made a template where it has them almost exactly like that, but they are reversed, lol. *great minds think alike*, hehe

What graphs ? The ones that stand for 'bullets' for the top menu items ? I thoutgh they`d be cool on a company site ... anyway,nobody wants to buy it, not even coded :cy:

If people only give you whats good, how are you supposed to learn? I strive on the bad, because i take it, and use that to make the layout better!

As for the layout:

The first one is very nice, and is a professional layout. I really like the slogan. Very catchy. All i have to say about that design is it needs a new logo.

Second design:
This one is nice also. Maby make the header a little bigger, but other than that, it is very nice.

As for the logo part .. yeh ... I know it needs a new one but I haven`t had the time to think about a nice logo concept for ScriptDownloads yet, had a lot of exams and schtuff :cy:

Hey, for the second website you posted- I would place borders around the entire website, and borders around what your current offer consists of. The area where it says "welcome" seems a bit too blank, imho. I would add a different background to the webpage instead of the silver one currently in place. Perhaps a small cube repeated consistantly, like the one at vir2l, except with a much lighter color. Honestly, there's a bit too much white where the main content is.

:P yeh, I feel there`s too much white there too, but it`s only because there`s no 'real' content yet, I still have to work on some tetx+pics to fit in there, and I`ll post back in a couple of days ... I wanted to know if you guys liked the concept/ top area ... that kind of schtuff

You mean you want comments just on the header? I would change the font you are currently using on the menu, to one of those neat pixel ones.
