TM issues.
I would not even appraise it at the normal 28 cents, but go with everyone else and say it is worth zip.

Remember, youtube is part of google and thus very protective of their brand names.

Yes agreed. If it's a new reg and your with GoDaddy you may even be able to get a refund.

I was going to say TM as well. This issue is real. I received a nasty email from facebook solicitors recently and being in TM violation is not worth it. Believe you me. Save yourself a lot of heartache.

Unless you contact google and ask them for permission to make a non profit website / Forum (and get the permission)

There is youtubeforums.com (NOT belonging to Google).
I don't know if they asked, but google seam to be fine with it. I can't imagine that they haven't seen it already. Its right at 3. Position and running since 2006.

So IT IS possible. But must know what you are doing.
The simple fact that you put it up for appraisal means you want to make money, so TM issue, bad faith, etc.
