Hi guys,

Please can you appraise the following domain I've picked up:

UniversityCourseFinder.com

Thought this sounded brandable and as an added bonus it already gets 1600 monthly exact searches.

Thinking of developing a search tool which allows users to search UK based university courses.

Let me know what you think!

This is a wonderful domain.
It's a keyword / generic domain, with lots of global exacts.
And, despite it's length, it is still brandable.
Others may say it's too long.
But:
1. The phrase is basically irreducible w/o destroying relevance and specificity for the searcher,
2. The length is advantageous for SEO purposes. (Easier to rank vs domains with fewer words.)
3. Every month 2,400 people don't think it is too long to type out.

I'm not going to spout a value. I would keep it, develop it, and get passive income for life.

I'll agree with DomainBizDev.

It's length hinders it's value without development. The value of this domain name will increase if you develop it. It has a limited one currently (not really above regfee), but with a decent development you may be able to reach other keywords and build a nice website.

If you have an idea to develop it it's the way I would suggest.

As it is a .com, I think you should include other countries, especially the U.S.
There's a lot of universities here that draw students from around the world.
I think the name has dramatically more value than regfee. (Domainers can be snobbish about length, but what about the numbers?)
Global searches for "university course finder" 2,375
Global approximate CPC "university course finder" $0.76 USD
Global competition for "university course finder" 34% (medium)
And if you sell sales leads to schools, they will be much more valuable than clicks.
This name is worthy of serious development. It could pay a lot of your monthly bills.

I will definitely be developing this domain.
