Thanks everyone, are longer domains always worth less even if there are good keywords in them ? ie - city breaks, I was thinking it would be quite good for example for one of the following - intercityhotel.de - intercityexpress.com or any other rail or coach related business that operate city breaks ??

Any other comments would be appreciated, I take it xx refers to 99 or below?

Disagree with all of the above....there is a big market for citybreaks in europe, and intercitybreaks.com name fits in with this short holiday market. You will likely be able to get a high $xx+ for this on Sedo. :imho:

Thanks everyone, I am learning from all these comments, I like this forum as there is plenty of input. As I am a domain selling virgin ! I can't offer any realistic appraisals but I will be reading most - for sure, I also am thinking in the same way as yoshiwara that city breaks are popular in europe, raileurope.co.uk have shown some interest in the domain but it seems like everyone else they want to know those two critical words - HOW MUCH ?
