I would very much appreciate any opinions on the value of this domain:

I have been approached, by email and phone message, by a guy who, judging by the results when I google his email address, seems to be building up a serious portfolio of domains.

A Manhattan firm of Certified Public Accountants own the .NET, redirecting to dbaccounting.net.

Well, a google search for the term gives 9,510 results only.

And this thread is in the third result.

The .net is reg'd since 2001. The .com is reg'd since 2004. The .org since 2011.

There are very few end-users for this one. I would say low $xx.

However, since you are being approached for the domain, you could ask for $x,xxx and see what he says. I would be happy with a $xxx sale also.
