The Pi Network is a new crypto network,
that has got its name from the famous raspberry pi hardware.
Many techleads & dev's use raspberry pis at least at some level (use it as home wlan etc.); you can do many things with that (at least when it comes to network),
and this is why the crypto 'Pi Network' has some good, grassroot basis to grow in the tech-scene...
Pi has switched last week from test net to main net, which means it is going LIVE now and only takes a few more weeks to list its pi crpytos on crypto exchanges etc.
Now, this is interesting: You can mine Pi from your smartphone.
Some believe, Pi could become one day as big as btc, as it is far easier to hold / mine / use, and you do not need any electricity for it (no investments).
The app does not consume electricity or run in the background of your smartphone.
However, I do not know how far Pi Network might come, but I think looking into the future, it won't be ashame to reg some Pi domains beforehand.
